Terms of Use

For the VFrame app (iPhone) · Last updated: 22 October 2026

1. Provider and scope

The app "VFrame" is provided by Nico Lange, Schlehenstraße 29, 71540 Murrhardt, Germany (see Imprint). These terms govern your use of the app. Apple's terms for the App Store and in-app purchases apply in addition.

2. What VFrame is

VFrame builds training plans, suggests weights, logs workouts and, if you choose, analyses photos of your body with an AI. The suggestions and analyses are tools for your training. They are not medical or nutritional advice. Check with a doctor before starting a training programme, especially if you have a medical condition, an injury or are pregnant.

3. Account

Using the app requires an account, which the app creates anonymously on first launch and which you link to Apple, Google or your email address after subscribing. You are responsible for the security of your device and sign-in details. You must be at least 16 years old.

4. Subscription and prices

  • VFrame is a subscription (weekly or yearly), bought and billed through Apple's in-app purchase. The price is shown in the App Store before you buy.
  • The subscription renews automatically at the same price unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • You manage and cancel it in your Apple ID settings under "Subscriptions". Access continues until the end of the paid period.
  • Refunds follow Apple's rules; requests go to Apple.
  • Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription.

5. Body scan

The body scan analyses photos with an AI. The results (physique score, body-fat range, muscle ratings) are estimates and can differ from reality. Taking photos is your choice; the analysis only runs with your consent. Upload photos of yourself only. The number of analyses per week is limited depending on your plan.

6. Acceptable use

You may use the app for your own personal, non-commercial use only. In particular you may not: circumvent the subscription or technical protection measures, reverse-engineer the app, access our servers automatically, upload unlawful content, or use the app for third parties or commercially without our consent.

7. Your content

Your training data, photos and own exercises remain yours. You grant us only the right to store and process them as far as needed to run the app (see Privacy Policy). You can export your data and delete your account at any time.

8. Availability and changes

We aim for high availability but cannot guarantee it; maintenance, outages at service providers or force majeure may limit the app temporarily. We may develop, change or discontinue features where there is a valid reason and the change is reasonable for you. We announce material changes in the app.

9. Liability

We are liable without limit for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and under product liability law. For slight negligence we are liable only for the breach of essential contractual duties, limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this kind of contract. You follow the training suggestions at your own responsibility: use proper form and choose weights you can handle safely.

10. Intellectual property

The app, its design, exercise illustrations, texts and software are protected by copyright. You receive a simple, non-transferable right to use the app for the duration of your subscription.

11. Apple

These terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content and provides no maintenance or support for it. Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these terms and may enforce them against you. You confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. embargo and are not on any U.S. list of prohibited parties.

12. Termination

You can stop using the app at any time by cancelling your subscription and deleting your account in the app. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms.

13. Final provisions

German law applies. As a consumer you also enjoy the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you usually live. If a provision is invalid, the rest remains in force. These terms exist in German and English; for consumers in Germany the German version prevails in case of differences.
